Residents reported substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of seven centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along large portions of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.

Tuesday was predicted as the most rainy day, with continued storm activity anticipated across different parts of both regions.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
